The Roost is a family owned and run winery in the Blue Mountains. We grow, make and serve seriously good cold climate wine for unserious occasions. Our wines are sustainably farmed, hand-made, small-batch, and minimal intervention. This way, every bottle is enlivened with our well-nurtured fruit that’s imbued with the nuances of our local terroir. And if you visit us, you can try this wine, along with a charcuterie and cheese board, in our 19th century barn that overlooks the Beaver Valley.

Husband and Wife John and Rina opened Ambrosia’s doors on John Street in 1979, selling nuts, dried fruits, baking goods, snacks and other bulk food items at discount prices. From their original bulk food business, they expanded into vitamins and minerals, natural foods, fresh organic fruits and vegetables, natural cosmetic products, frozen entrées, specialty foods and more. Their sales concept from their bulk food days has always remained the same - buying product in volume in order to offer customers the lowest possible prices. You will always find a rich selection of bulk, grocery, supplements, and beauty items to suit your needs and budget.
